Clan Stacking Issue Options

Tonight I was on your server with another {IC} member, just two of us. A clan teammate of yours, Bad Horsie started messaging me to drop my tag or change the teams because what I was doing was clan-stacking. I was soon kicked altogether and then rejoined. Thing is when I rejoined, there were 2 more people playing on the opposite team of my clan-mate so I couldn't join the other if I wanted to. I'm not trying to cause trouble for anybody but it this clanstack thing an official policy? I can see if 8 of us jumped on and played on the same side, that would be clan-stacking but we're only 2. Anyways, I left the server because I would rather play on the same team as my clan-mate than change teams and play against him or drop my tag.

We have our own server <snip>, but if 3, 4 or even 5 of you had came by, you would never be asked to change teams or drop your tags. I was having fun on your server besides this but it struck me enough to register and post this.

I think that was some kind of cheap way to advertise his own server.
Personally, I think this is ban worthy because of the shameless plug.

i think it was a friendly gesture. if he had given the IP and website address, then he would be advertising.

Hello All,
I'm the other {IC}member that was on with TBonZ.
I took the time to register here to thank WDF? for the apology and policy change on clan stacking.
I have owned 3 UT servers over the yrs and I know they can be a challenge to admin sometimes.
I would have posted last night with TBonZ, but I didn't want to say something out of line or derogatory.
I was a little upset over the whole  thing to say the least.
Thnx to Valadian  for inquiring into the situation on our behalf even though he's a fairly new member here as he says..
Valadian explained it quite well in his thread that Dragon refered to.
His explanation was pretty much spot on.
A thank you to Cantrip also for trying to correct the situation.
He let TBonZ back on and it was fine again until he (Cantrip) left.

No, This wasn't an advertisement jbm. Just a friendly open invite for you all to stop by and try our server and say hi.
Our game server is paid for by the few  gaming members of our site.
We are just a friendly 23,00,00 member tech site.
Thnx  for the benefit of doubt Dragon. And Thnx for helping to resolve the issue.
You were correct. It was only a friendly gesture.
As for myself, I had a great time on your server until the incident happened.
I met a great bunch of fun TF2 gamers and will come back.

Thanks for rectifying the issue guys! Like I said originally, I wasn't on here to start trouble for anyone, that wasn't my perogative at all. I'm more then happy with the outcome. Like I said in the other thread, I've favorited your server and will come back to play from time to time.

Also, I didn't post our server name as a shameless plug. Just extending a friendly invitation to you all. I don't like spammers in our forum so I wouldn't do it in yours. :)
